Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix and Robert De Niro are getting action figures along with a Murray Franklin Show playset from the blockbuster film.
MacFarlane Toys put the Joker 7-inch Limited Edition Deluxe Collector Set up for pre-order on Friday. The set was also made available for pre-order on such sites as Amazon, Entertainment Earth, GameStop and the Big Bad Toy Store.
The playset, of course, recreates the pivotal moment in the 2019 film where Arthur Fleck/Joker (Phoenix) accepts an invitation by New York City talk show host Murray Franklin (De Niro) to be a guest on the show. Wearing his Joker makeup, Fleck eventually executes Franklin by shooting him to death live on the air.
The Joker Limited Edition Deluxe Collector Set retails for $249.99.
Phoenix earned his first Best Actor Oscar for his role in Joker and recently reprised the film for the box office dud Joker: Folie à Deux—co-starring Lady Gaga as Lee Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn.
Joker: Folie à Deux wrapped up its run in theaters this week.
What Does The ‘Joker’ Deluxe Playset Include?
According to MacFarlane Toys, Joaquin Phoenix and Robert De Niro’s Arthur/Fleck and Murray Franklin action figures are both 7 inches tall and each includes 22 points of articulation.
In addition, the deluxe diorama playset set features a Live with Murray Franklin backdrop and floor, as well as Franklin’s desk, two chairs, a mug, a microphone and a plant.
The toymaker also noted that the Joker figure comes with four alternate hands, three interchangeable Joker faces, a joke book, a pistol and a Joker collectible art card.
Also, MacFarlane Toys noted that the playset includes full-size prop replicas from the Joker movie, including Joker’s notebook, a “Don’t Forget to Smile” metal sign, a paper “Open Mic Night poster” and a “Forgive my Laughter” card on card stock.
MacFarlane said the Joker Murray Franklin Show playset would be released in 2025 but did not give a specific release date.
Entertainment Earth, however, indicated the set is estimated to arrive in February of 2025, while the Big Bad Toy Store listed a March release date andwhile Amazon noted it will be available in early April. GameStop did not list a release date.
According to The Numbers, Joker was the first R-rated movie in history to gross more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office—a feat that Deadpool & Wolverine repeated after it was released in theaters this summer.
