Love him or hate him, Morgan Wallen is one of the biggest names in country music at the moment. In the years he’s been a superstar, he’s managed incredible feats that few in his genre before him came close to, and his winning streak continues.
As his latest single “I’m the Problem” debuts across a number of rankings, Wallen proves his dominance in the country space yet again. The singer-songwriter sits at No. 1 on every single one of Billboard’s country charts, and he does so with several different titles.
“I’m the Problem” controls three of the five country-specific tallies published by Billboard every week. It launches at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs, and Country Digital Song Sales charts.
The tune, which serves as the latest single and title track for Wallen’s upcoming album, marks his milestone tenth No. 1 on the Country Songs chart. That list is considered the most important in the space, as it’s fueled by consumption, which means that usually the leader performs well on streaming platforms, digital download sites, and via traditional country radio, which is still hugely important in that sector of the music industry.
Wallen has led the charge on both the Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Songs Sales tallies with even more tunes. “I’m the Problem” earns him his fourteenth ruler on the streaming only list, and his fifteenth champion on the ranking of the bestselling country-only tracks throughout the nation.
As “I’m the Problem” begins its journey, another one of Wallen’s most recent smashes leads the Country Airplay chart. “Love Somebody,” another single from the forthcoming I’m the Problem album, is steady atop the radio ranking for a third frame.
The fifth and final of Billboard’s country charts is not focused on songs, but albums. Wallen leads that charge too, even as he prepares to drop another complete collection. One Thing at a Time is a non-mover on the throne of the list of the most-consumed country projects in the nation. That blockbuster has now controlled the tally for 73 of the 101 frames it has spent somewhere on the ranking.
The focus at the moment for Wallen is on “I’m the Problem,” but he fills more than one space on each and every one of the country rankings he appears on. All three of his full-lengths are living on the Top Country Albums chart, and he has a total of eight tunes that find space on at least one genre-specific list or another.
