Nickelback’s public image has changed quite a bit throughout the years. At times, they’re regarded as one of the biggest rock bands in the world. In other moments, the masses seem to turn on them and even hate them.
Through it all, Nickelback has persevered, and they’re still working. The band dropped a new live album recently, and it’s become a win on a number of charts all around the planet. Live From Nashville debuts on four charts in the U.K. this week, and it performs best on the genre-specific list. It also hits the Official Album Downloads (No. 28), Official Albums Sales (No. 43), and the Official Physical Albums (No. 60) rankings at the same time.
Nickelback scores the second-loftiest new entry on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart this week, and they’re in excellent company. Linkin Park starts their comeback project From Zero at No. 1—and not just on the rock-only list. Iron Maiden’s Powerslave isn’t new to the list, but it does re-enter at No. 2, right behind Linkin Park.
