He slayed the deal!
Thrash metal guitarist Kerry King — who was the lead guitarist for Slayer and collaborated with Megadeth — and his wife, Ayesha, just plunked down $3.65 million on a Tribeca triplex.
It was last asking $3.92 million.
King — who recently said Slayer retired “too early” — also worked on the song “License to Ill” and “No Sleep till Brooklyn” with the Beastie Boys.
Ayesha announced the move back to the Big Apple on her Instagram, saying New York is “back home for me, excited to be near my family again.”
The renovated two-/three-bedroom unit is at 12 Warren St., a boutique condo built in 2016.
It was on the market for 45 days and comes with $4,572 monthly common charges.
At 3,522 square feet, the spacious digs open to a foyer and ceilings run as high as 22 feet 7 inches.
The main floor boasts an open chef’s kitchen that leads to a dining room.
The smart-wired home also features wide-plank white oak floors and a home theater.
The couple have been on a bit of a pandemic real estate buying roll. In 2020, they also bought a $3.8 million home in Las Vegas Valley, Nev., according to reports.
The listing brokers for the New York City triplex were Shea Mena and Chris Fry of Elegran.
