Oscar winners Emma Stone, Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Da’Vine Joy Randolph are among the three dozen stars who have been tapped to be presenters at the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday.
Murphy and Downey, of course, won Oscars for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, respectively, for Oppenheimer at the Academy Awards in 2024, while Stone won Best Actress for Poor Things and Randolph took home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for The Holdovers.
The winners from the previous year of the Oscars traditionally return to be presenters at the following year’s ceremony, but in the category of the opposite gender.
As such, expect Murphy and Downey to present the Oscars for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively. Likewise, expect Stone and Randolph to present the Oscars for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, respectively.
According to ABC, which is broadcasting the ceremony, other stars who will be presenters at the Oscars on Sunday include Dave Bautista, Harrison Ford, Gal Gadot, Andrew Garfield, Samuel L. Jackson, Margaret Qualley, Alba Rohrwacher, Zoe Saldaña and Rachel Zegler.
Saldaña, of course, is also a nominee in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in Emilia Pérez.
Emilia Pérez leads the pack of nominees going into the Oscars 2025 ceremony with 13 nods. The historical epic The Brutalist and movie adaption of the classic Broadway musical Wicked are nominated for 10 Oscars each and the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown and Vatican thriller Conclave are next with eight nominations apiece.
Emilia Pérez, The Brutalist, Wicked, A Complete Unknown and Conclave are all nominated for Best Picture, along with Anora, Dune: Part Two, I’m Still Here and Nickel Boys.

Who Else Is Presenting At The Oscars 2025 Ceremony?
ABC noted that other stars who will be presenters for Sunday night’s Oscars 2025 ceremony include Joe Alwyn, Sterling K. Brown, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Ana de Armas, Lily-Rose Depp, Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg and Selena Gomez.
In addition, Goldie Hawn, Scarlett Johansson, John Lithgow, Connie Nielsen, Amy Poehler, June Squibb, Ben Stiller, Oprah Winfrey and Bowen Yang will be presenters at during the ceremony.
ABC reported that more stars may be added to the list of presenters at the 97th Academy Awards before Sunday’s broadcast.
In addition to the Oscars 2025 broadcast on ABC-TV, the ceremony will be streamed live on Hulu for the first time. Comedian and former talk show host Conan O’Brien will be the host of the 97th Oscars, which will take place at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.
The Oscars 2025 ceremony will begin on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
